Salvation

Written: JAN 1, 2004

A delicate mass of enticing curls,
So sensuous in fiery attentiveness,
As the serpentine locks of Medusa,
Freeing one from everything else,
Solidifying the definitions of beauty
And extending them into raw focus.
Retrieving my heart with the slightest touch,
You lead me back to salvation;
Venturing with me, hand in hand,
The perilous climb from the depths
That have taken me years to fall,
This far.
