Early morn brings forth dreary fog,
In which I escape my sleepy grog.
Eyes to the sky, my vision unblurs;
A bad day it will be, the gloom assures.
From within gray mist,
The sun does appear.
Disintegrating the gloom,
Taking away daily fears.
A beautiful morning it turned out to be,
Basking in the sunshine, I free truly free.
Onward to knowledge, now my path lay clear,
Good riddance to gloom, my heart does cheer.
