This battle spell focuses and increases the effectiveness of the wizards spells against creatures with magic resistance. This spell effects one spell for every three levels the caster has achieved. Spells of any level (including priest spells) can be enhanced in this way as long as their casting times are less than one round.
This spell lowers the magic resistance of creatures hit by spells enhanced by overpower resistance. The victims magic resistance is lowered by a base 5 percent, plus half of the caster's level. For example, Piper (M24) casts overpower resistance, the resistance of all magically resistant creatures attacked by his next six spells would have their resistance lowered by 17 percent (5% base + 12; half of 24).
