The Heart of the Warrior burns in me,
The Will of the fallen remains unquenched,
The spirits of the Ancients dwell in me,
In pride of Noble blood I stand, still drenched.
The majestic cougar strides within me,
As I stalk urban forests unnoticed.
Glowing in shy pride, the Native in me.
Savage, with nobility evidenced.
We in our broken, passive resistance,
Struggle to regain our glory, our pride,
To once more feast on the enemies’ heart.
In secret place, our rough grace there does hide,
Our noble soul unlike their contrivance,
Noble savage, with red blood in my heart.
