Mercurial yet not acquiescent.
This zeal,
heated as flowing metal.
Volcanic in its subtlety,
arousing of the most evocative
tranquility of the mind.
Desire born of fulfillment,
longing for the coldness;
an enclosure of filth,
emotionless in her love.
Hiding my sins
from life-giving light
three yards beneath your arms.
To only go despondent
in indomitable peace,
harnessed in your unliving womb:
Mother Earth.
