Any spell cast at the priest that does damage (magic missile, flame strike, etc.) can be absorbed by the priest's body & the energy can be reused as healing magic. The priest takes the normal damage from the attack, but the spell energy that entered the priest's body is captured. The priest is then able to use the energy to cast healing spells equal in levels to the spell taken. The priest may not use the magic to heal damage done to himself. Spells that protect from a certain type of damage, i.e. fire or lightning, allows the priest to reuse the magic without taking the damage. If the protection prevents the spell energy from reaching the priest's body, like magic resistance, spell turning or a brooch of sheilding, the magic cannot be reused. Breath weapons, effects from magical items, and innate abilities are not affected. The additional healing energy fades if not used after 1 turn per level of the casting priest.
The material component of this spell is a leech.
