Did you see me in the crowded room?
A lone wolf dressed to kill; out for blood,
But finding so much beauty, I can only think
Of your burning image in my mind.
And like my totem, it’s you now I hunt,
Striding over great fields, back to the seat
Of nature and from the stone and steel monoliths.
Back Home, to the tree lined loves of childhood,
To where I left my heart many years past.
I come seeking it and you, and a bonding of the two;
Will you help me piece this dropped life anew?
I look to you more and it less, for I think it comes,
For all I see now is beauty, and now all I can see is you.
