Have you never seen how
Desperate I want you with me now?
Seeing you sends my hidden
To you through eyes alone.
Ethereal tears like zephyrs,
Pounding futilely upon unborn winds.
An unimagined caress of guilt
For you, though you feel it not.
Your cherubic face smiles light,
Warming me with your every gaze.
Winging so far above me
You can’t see the depths I’ve sunk.
I need to look up through the airs,
Longing to ascend to such heights,
I only remain an angel in Your eyes.
