This spell is the same as the 4th-level Forcefend spell, except the spell lasts for 1 round per 3 levels of the caster and extends to a 9-foot diameter hemisphere around the caster. Typically, this field will protect the caster and up to four other man-sized beings in the area of effect.
Furthermore, the new target of the offensive spell receives a -4 penalty to his saving throw.
If the new target succeeds his saving throw, then the secondary target is affected and suffers a -6 penalty to his save.
Notes: Rare for Incantatrix; otherwise very rare.
