This spell blankets the area of effect in a dense, dark gray mist. All forms of vision are reduced to 30 feet, except that of true seeing. All beings in the mist also appear to all others as drow warriors, their facial features and all other distinguishing marks, items and equipment instead appear as those typically used by the dark elves.
The caster is unaffected by all the above effects. Furthermore, the caster is cloaked in neutralize heat and 1-4 albino duplicates of the caster move throughout this mist and actively confuse and attack those in the mist. The duplicates are akin to those created by the 2nd-level wizard spell mirror image, except that they are not destroyed until the duration of this spell expires or the image is dispelled. The images appear to be wounded and act exactly as the caster would under similar circumstances.
The material component of this spell is mirror and a small jet carving of the caster, both of which are consumed in the casting of this spell.
