Chestnut Waters

Written: AUG 7, 2003

Spherical, gloomed, bronze vision,
It washes over one like refreshment.
Their cool color belly the intimate warmth,
And the fires of the being behind their mysteries.

Darkening with emotion,
They can burrow through you.
Delving to your soul and back out,
Seeing your worth and loving you for it.

Eyes of the deepest brown gaze back
Longing for one of worth to take the plunge,
Gazing intently within and finding all they seek.
To Swim in their measure & coming up breathless.

Potent brown eyes you could drown in,
Yet filled with all the love a world could want.
Absorbing the lights and loves around them, warming
But not yet heated, better cool, soothing you as you look in.

Come submerse yourself entire,
Feed off the endless loving waters.
Writhe in the wisdom of deep years,
Add to them happiness and lighten me.
