New Elven True Blade Proficiency

Blade of Truth (1-5 slots)

Like other martial arts proficiencies, the blade of truth can be bought with either weapon or nonweapon proficiency slots. This proficiency can only be learned by a 3rd or higher level True Blade. After its initial purchase, it can again be advanced to the next level of proficiency every 3 levels. Thus almost all True Blades purchase the proficiency at 3rd-level and then again every 3 levels when they receive their new weapon proficiencies.

This is the ability of the True Blade to grasp the magic in and throughout the world around him. This is the most well kept secret of the elven nations to date, for only the Queen of Evermeet and the Runemaster knows of it's existence other than the last known True Blade, a baelnorn of Myth Drannor named Stadius Evanero!

The aura of power surrounding the True Blade grants him a -1 to his initiative and a +1 to hit with his chosen weapon! This increases by the same amount up to -5 to initiative and a +5 to hit for 5 slots devoted to this potent proficiency. This ability is almost identical to the "chi" attacks common to the unarmed martial art styles.

These bonuses are either considered a magical or non-magical bonus, depending on what is the most beneficial to the True Blade. For example, if the True Blade attacks a balor his weapon is considered to be a weapon of enchantment (striking any creature that requires a magical weapon to hit it), otherwise it is considered a non-magical weapon with the ability to hit creatures immune to nonmagical weapons!
