After my too long absence,
Still you took to me immediately.
Your saucy attitude, the look,
Your sweet glares and shining smile.
I only wish I could bring you
As much joy at my sight as you cause.
Those flaring blue eyes, locking me within,
I dare not look away, or do I fear them?
To get trapped within them would be dreamy,
Residing in those azure walls of beauty.
I seek to look past them to your kindness,
Your loving nature and your intelligence.
Keeping my sight, they lazily penetrate me,
Gouging through my self doubts, letting me see.
See the real me, or rather the me I can be;
The man I want to be, the one reflected in bluesy.
