This spell allows the caster to enchant his weapon by completing deeds and doing other things in accordance with his Bladesinger status (such as permanently defeating a threat to the elven nation, saving an elven life from death, forever killing a greater fiend, etc.). By doing these spectacular deeds the gods and other forces involved in the caster's life begin to reward him for his efforts by imbuing the item with powers that would help the character (the DM chooses powers for the item based on the character's history and what would benefit him in future endeavors).
If the optional honor system is used, the DM can set specific point totals that when reached, will further enhance the item. Thus character's will have a purpose and then pay more attention to their actions, as they are better rewarded for them. It can also be said that a Bladesinger who becomes evil or in opposition to the way of elven life can expect his item to become powerless or even cursed!
The material component for this spell is the chosen item of the Bladesinger to be enchanted. Furthermore, this item must be of at least extraordinary craftmanship.
Notes: Restricted to bladesingers; very rare.
