This spell creates a cloak of shadowy metal blades on the wizard. These blades allow the wearer to fly in short bursts, lasting only up to 3 rounds once every turn the spell is in effect. Furthermore, the bladecurtain cloak can be used to attack the wizard’s enemies. In which case, the wizard gains 1 additional attack per round that causes 1d12 points of damage. This cloak of blades also lowers the damage taken by the wearer’s by points equal to half his level per attack. But all successful attacks still cause at least 1 point of damage, unless stoneskin or other damage nullifying magics are employed!
Thus, Jedah's (12th-level wizard) decurtain cloakwould absorb 6 points of damage from any and all attacks against him while the spell was in effect.
The material components for this spell are four darts or other bladed weapons.
