This spell is a variant of mislead, functioning in most respects as that spell. In addition, the arrogant ambush also grants the wizard the ability to detect invisibility and covers his body and all his possessions in a protective form-fitting shell equal to that of a globe of invulnerability.
The illusion created by this spell is of 8th-level not as in the mislead spell, so only those beings totally immune to illusions can see through this complex ruse.
