By means of this mighty merchant magic, the caster creates a magical portal that can either be linked to another location on the same plane that the wizard has previously visited, or to various locations on the same plane of existence on which the wizard current resides.

The first application of Arkon’s absolute arriver is to transport goods to another plane of existence. This allows the caster to literally throw objects through the absolute arriver portal and they always appear in the desired location neatly stacked and or placed in the spot where they are designated to go by the caster or the individual on the other side of the portal (although they cannot be moved into an area that will damage them, as this spell protects them from breakage and damage until the transport is totally complete). The goods can be thrown back and forth this way and even people can travel in this way; the portal remains fully functional and usable from both sides for the duration of the spell.

The second application of the absolute arriver is to transport goods to various places and/or cities on the same plane of existence. Otherwise it has the same affects as per the first application of this spell. Furthermore, the caster can designate a specific place for each item or group of items to go; the amount of different areas that objects (or people) can be transported to is equal to half the caster’s level.

Thus an 18th-level caster could transport goods and/or people to another plane of existence (1st application) that he has been to, or transport various items and/or people to up to 9 different locations on the same plane (2nd application); either application of the spell lasting for a total of 19 rounds.

The absolute arriver can be dispelled by the caster at will, by a successful dispel magic, or by the spell duration elapsing. Anything caught in the portal when it collapses must make either a Dexterity check (for people) or an item saving throw vs. crushing blow (for other objects) or be totally sliced in twain between the two locations, presumably destroyed in the process.

The material components for Arkon’s absolute arriver is a hand full or earth from the caster’s location and a coin of any type from the location(s) for which the arriver will “ship the goods to”. Arkon, in his typically drunken state, often declares this a cruel joke interfering in his Art; “taxes” to the gods for his brilliant transportation on goods.
