This spell is a variant of the 4th-level turn pebble to boulder spell. The spell affects arrows, bolts, even thrown darts, daggers and knives! At the culmination of Arkon’s awesome arrow, the caster hurls or fires the weapons that grow in size and increase in speed a great deal, becoming deadly weapons that each cause triple their normal damage, plus + 1 point for every 3 levels of the caster. They can be used only within a range of 50 feet, plus 10 feet per level of the caster. Only the caster can choose which objects are affected, but he may choose an object fired or thrown by another creature, as long as the object is within 40 yards of him at the time he enchants it.
Thus a dagger so enchanted by a 7th-level wizard would grow and increase in speed, with a range of 120 feet and causing a stunning 3d4+2 points of damage.
Although this damage is typically less than that of a typical turn pebble to boulder spell, the casting wizard may enchant one object at 7th-level, and gains the ability to enchant one more object per three levels of experience thereafter (2 objects at 10th-level, three at 13th-level, etc.). Only one object can be thrown/used per round, and the must be so used in consecutive rounds. The spell lasts for a number of rounds equal to the number of objects enchanted. Each object requires a separate attack roll. And the objects can be used against separate targets within range.
The material components for this spell is are the objects to be enchanted, plus a bag of throwing stones touched by a full-blood halfling.
