The angels must have wept
at your coming,
As your one-winged form was
passed onto us lesser Hearts.
Your sweet innocents
make us want to be more than
we are; to be worthy of you,
to be one with you.
If I were to ask you to fly
could I keep up?
I would try in vain,
struggle without looking down.
Facing the plummet
I could stare on in awe.
As the depth of the fall couldn’t be
more than that which I’ve fallen for you.
I will weep with His choirs
when you fall.
As will all other Hearts until
we can once and for all be one…
