This spell summons a little whirlwind that is 6-feet in diameter, and moves according to the mental commands of the caster; although the wizard can also do other activities in the round which he directs the air vortex. This vortex of magics moves through the air at a movement rate of 18, maneuverability class A. It can strike in combat using the caster’s own THAC0 and causing 2d6 points of damage, but it’s true purpose and attack is that of stealing one cast spell that would otherwise affect its caster.
Within the center of this vortex of air is a small sheet of paper that has been folded into a box. When the rival spell is cast the whirlwind vortex flies and intercepts the spell, leaving whatever other actions it was doing in the round. Once it intercepts the spell it transforms the trapped spell into harmless light and quickening energy and speeds over to its caster. By the time the vortex reaches the caster it has transformed the spell energy into both energy to move it to the caster and scripture on the inside of the paper box within it. In this paper are the exact instructions to cast the spell that the vortex of magics intercepted! It is considered identical to any other spellbook page; furthermore, it can be melded into an existing spellbook with the use of a mending spell, which literally mends the page to the book.
The material component for Abba's vortex of magics is a sheet of the finest paper, which must be folded properly into a box shape and inserted into the vortex as the spell is cast (proper folding of the paper can be accomplished with a successful Dexterity check).
Notes: Uncommon for Incantatrixes and rare for air elementalists of the FORGOTTEN REALMS setting; otherwise a very rare spell.
