This spell is like the Astroth's diamond shards spell but instead sends out a spray of silver needles instead of diamond ones. This spell is good against creatures only affected by magic or silver, and if they make the saving throw against spells they are still affected by the silver and take full damage by it. The damage from the needles is 1d6 points of damage per level up to 9th-level. After 9th-level, the damage is +1 point of damage. Thus a 12th-level caster would do 9d6+3 points of damage.
The material component for this spell is three silver needles 1 inch long.
