This spell sends out a blob of rubbery substance with 4 tentacles about 2-feet long that stretch out from it. The caster can create 1 blob for every three levels he has attained. The blob can be thrown as a fighter the same level as the caster up to 60 yards, and up to 2 blobs may be thrown at once. The blobs, once contact is made, will wrap around anything within their 2-foot range. If there is nothing for it to wrap around, the blob will stick to the target. Once the blob has wrapped around something, they will begin to send out a blast of electricity equal to the 1st level spell shocking grasp. This will continue for the spell duration or until the caster mental dispels it. The target may save vs. spells each round for ½ damage. The blobs may be pulled off with a successful strength check, but this will cause the blob to discharge all of the electricity stored in it all at once. The way this can be found out is by finding out how many rounds are left multiple this by a 1d6, save vs. spells for ½ damage.
The only way to remove the blob without the discharge of energy is to cast dispel magic or to pour oil on it, causing it to slide off.
The material component for this spell is the tentacle of a jellyfish rolled into a ball then tied with a copper wire.
