This spell creates an eerie purple aura of concentrated radiation around the caster’s fingertips and wrists. This aura causes those touched to succeed a saving throw vs. spell at a -2 penalty or suffer 1d6 points of damage and the loss of 1 point of Charisma, as the radiation energy similarly destroys the victim’s skin as would acid under different circumstances. If the save succeeds, however, the victim suffers only half the damage, but the Charisma lose is not incurred. Those creatures not rated for Charisma suffer a -1 penalty to any and all reaction checks for every other successful touch.
Any loss of Charisma is regained at a rate of 1 point per hour. Damage must be cured magically or healed naturally.
The material component is a tiny set of adamantine orbs slightly shaped into fists.
