God has given them the rudiments of thought and joy untroubled.
Do not trouble their joy, do not harass them, do not deprive them of of their happiness .
Do not work agains God's intent, Man .
Do not pride yourself on your superiority to animals :
They are without sin ."
At 2000 i have finished my B.A. in Marine Science i know a lot more of ways marina mammals are being killed, or dying cause of the ocean polution BUT
i will not "bother" you with figures and number's of the dolphin's we kill in a year
let me celebrate their lives
those magnificent creatures who, if we would let them ,will invite us to their world and share with us those stolen moment's in the water.
dolphins , from personal experiance, can give you the best feeling in the world , if you'll just let them ... if you'll come with an open heart and open arm's
for me it has been the best experience in the world !
and i hope one day, I'll be able to give back some of the joy the gave me - by helping and trying to save them !
to share with the world - and to show all people their grace and peace !
What are Marine Mammals at all ?
Wel, Marine Mammals are a lagre group of animals living in the water, all their lives or part's of it, but have lungs
That group includes Whales, Dolphins, Seals and more
Dolphins and Whales are a big family that includes many spicies and sub-groups in it
Some of them are very small and some can reach up to 25-30m' and can weigh up to 120ton.
But eat only the smallest creature in the Oceans: Plankton, which they filter from the water.
Like the Humpback
They are very unique, each has his own song, which he carry's all of his life
and they can be told apart by the diffrent paterns on their back fin
And then there are the whales that hunt and have teeth.
They live of fish, marine life and even other mammals - they are called Orca.
They can reach up to 10m' length.
Dolphins are apart of that big family too.
Though they vary in shapes, colours and habitats too.
They live in all the Oceans, some of the Rivers (like the pink dolphin from the amazon.
They vary in shapes and sizes
Now comes the sad part.
Beached whales & Dolphins are one one the sadest things i can think of.
The beaching phenomenon has no explanation for now, though a lot of suggestion's
Some say it's due to the polution in the air and in the water of Organochlorides, which are metarials that do not desolve in the water or in the air.
Once we breeth them - they are forever in our system.
That weakens up the sysytems and open up the mammals (and all other lives too), to being more hurt from sickness and injury.
Since most mammals are a society group, they live in pods, they ALL come together to the beach.
Some say it's 'cause they follow a leader, Other say it's to help the sick and other just say they damaged their navigation.
No matter what the reason is -- We can help
First by being aware to what we do, what we throughand what we use
And second, there are way amazing people help them go back to the ocean.
They spend days and nights by them, 'till they are able to sweem back to freedom.
