Hello Again!
This page is about SEWING!!! At school, one of the many things I get to teach is sewing.I love to teach sewing. (It keeps all of the students busy). Sewing is a hobby of mine, however I don't get to enjoy it that often.
When I begin to teach sewing, I first teach the students about the machines. After they understand how to load the thread and work the machine settings, I give all of the students papers with patterns drawn on them. They work the papers around and learn how to stay on the lines. I guess it is like teaching first graders how to write! After that, They get to work on small little sewing projects. Bean bags for the PE department, small pillows, etc. Then we get to the fun stuff. Boxer shorts, aprons, a three piece suit. It is alot of fun!
I hope you enjoyed learning some of what I teach. This of course is only a small
sample of what I teach. Maybe in the future I will add more info on the other subjects
and projects that I teach.
