I'm 16 years old and in the 11th grade. In case you were wondering, no, photography is not one of my consuming interests (but I enjoy it). I'm a pretty good student, and I get straight A's, but I ain't athletic! You could say I'm "geek chic." My passions include music (I play piano, viola, I compose music, and have several years of experience in MIDI), reading and writing, the wild outdoors, and Star Trek (the Next Generation rulz!).
I listen to all types of music, from classical to jazz to techno to alternative, with the exception of rap (which I find mostly dull). I've played piano for six years, and am currently studying Beethoven's Sonata Pathétique, Chopin's Etude in C minor, Schubert's Impromptu No. 3 Op. 142, Bach's Prelude & Fugue in E major, and Debussy's La Cathédrale Engloutie. Last year, I founded a Music Club at my school. I've played viola five years, in several orchestras. I've also performed some of my compositions - including my Piano Concerto No. 1 in D minor at the De Young Museum at Golden Gate Park (my crowning achievement)!
My other pasttimes are playing computer games (Descent, Earth:2025), surfing the net, and hiking. I've totally revamped my homepage, too.
