George's Impossible Dream

"To dream the impossible dream, to fight the unbeatable foe;
To bear with unbearable sorrow, to run where the brave dare not go;
To right the unrightable wrong, to love the unchaste from afar;
To try when your arms are too weary to reach the unreachable star;
This is my quest, to follow that star,
No matter how hopeless, no matter how far;
To fight for the right without question or pause;
To be willing to march into hell for a heavenly cause;
And I know if I'll only be true to this glorious quest;
That my heart will lie peaceful and calm when I lay to my rest;
And the world will be better for this, that one man scorned and covered with scars,
Still strode with his last ounce of courage, to reach the unreachable star;
To dream the impossible dream."

From Man of LaMancha by Joe Darion

A dream is a wish, a conception of imagination or hope, awaiting its fulfilment.

Impossible is not capable of happening or being.

All possibilities are derived from the impossible, to dream the impossible is to seek the actualization of the potential and to bring with it the possible; until we do it, then we will realize that it is possible.

Why does everything looks so dark?
The darkness surrounding us might somewhat light up if we would first practice using the light we have on the place we are.
To see one's darkness proves the presence of a great light.

I will see life from both sides now.

Once the block is carved there will be names, and as soon as there are names, they will be known. If I force myself to give it a name, I shall call it great. But the absolutely great is the absolutely remote. It is this remote thing which pervades all things, which is now my thinking, and therefore I designate it as returning.

If I was wise I would be sitting on a mountain...

Hey I am sitting on a mountain!!!

"Cogito, ergo sum" - Descartes

"I went deep to the woods because I wished to live deliberately, to front the only essential facts of life, and see if I could not learn what it had to teach, and not, when I came to die, discover that I had not lived. I wanted to live deep and suck out all the marrow of life, to live so sturdily and Spartan-like as to put to rout all that was not life, to cut a broad swath and shave close, to drive life into a corner, and reduce it to its lowest terms, and if it proved to be mean, why then to get the whole genuine meanness of it, and publish its meanness to the world; or if it were sublime, to know it by experience and be able to give a true account of it in my next excursion."

From Henry David Thoreau
