10am to 2pm a the New Mililani Rink at 10 Acres Park
The Mililani In-line Hockey Association is dedicated to children
ages 6 to 18 in the growing sport of roller hockey. (Note new age
allowed)
Look for the article in the Ka Nupepa newspaper for pictures
and a nice article about our dedication/blessing ceremony that
was held recently at our new rink. We are all very fortunate to
have this new facility and our tournament went very well. Final
results are now posted.
REFEREES WANTED! Please contact a board member if interested. Junior Referees are welcome that are at least age 13 years old.

SELECT TEAM HEAD COACH SELECTION PROCESS
MIHA will accept request from coaches that wish
to be Head Coaches for select teams. Head Coaches will be able
to select their own assistant coaches, but MIHA's Board of
Directors will approve all coaching positions, Head Coaches
and Assistant Coaches. All coaches will be selected for one
season, that season will end at the completion of the National
Tournament in which MIHA participates and the new season will
begin at which point the selection process starts over. MIHA
reserves the right to remove Head Coaches or Assistant Coaches
for just cause after a full investigation of the facts. For
more information on the Head Coach selection process please
contact a MIHA Board Member.
SELECT TEAM PLAYER SELECTION
All select team players must have played at least one
season with MIHA or be currently playing in the league,
with the exception of goalies. Parents and players must sign a
commitment form, prior to the tryouts, indicating they understand
the financial and time commitments involved with being on a
select team.

SELECT TEAM TRYOUTS
Congratulations to Coach Paul Xavier who was unanimousely voted as the MIHA Peewee and Bantam select coach for the year 2000 at the MIHA Board of Directors on July 20, 1999.
Peewee Division players must not have reached their 13th birthday and Bantam Division players must not have reached their 15th birthday by December 31, 1999 to be eligible for that division.
Congratulations to Mike Ryan who was selected as MIHA squirt select team coach. Squirt players must not have reached their 11th birthday by December 31, 1999.
****HOCKEY RINK*****
Congratulations to the families of MIHA
for the acceptance of the brand new hockey rink at 10 Acres Park
with the Blessing Ceremony held at 8am on November 27, Saturday. Thank
you to all the families that have worked steadfastly for 5 years
to get this beautiful rink.
