Stronger than Goblins, these monsters have at least some intelligence. They are also greedy, and are usually employed as mercenaries.
Spinal Villians, known for the pain they cause in the spine of Wizards within twenty-five feet, also have a magic barrier. They resist water spells 50% of the time, and emit a field for twenty-five feet around that confuses most spellcasters (except Necromancers). For this magic barrier, they are often used as sentries by rich lords to stop magical tamperings.
