When I held your hand and you
held my heart
I knew I cared for you from the
very start
So I was wrong about us, what
else could I do
A slap in the face came of what
we’ve been through
I opened to you as my dreams
slipped away
Then they fell closed after all I
had to say
How else can I live and then
