hmm... let me know if you can even SEE the picture; when i look at the preview of this thing, the picture isn't showing up, just the maroon margin background, and i could see the old picture in the margin when i looked at it, so how come this one doesn't want to show itself? grrrrrrrrr.....

hahahahahahahaha, the margin looks HILARIOUS now with my face all over it. it kind of works better than the other photo, though, albeit a little distorted. at least you can see my whole face, haha, but way too many times, it's like you're being watched! well, as long as you don't mind feeling watched by me, i guess we're ok. ;)

i guess i will keep posting you letters here for a while, then, if you think it's ok. it's at least more entertaining for me to write here instead of in email all the time. well, it will be entertaining until i get so frustrated i want to kill the computer, haha.

well, i mailed in my thing for teoria de traduccion yesterday evening, i couldn't tell if my professor was mad at me today or not, she just said first thing, "well now i have yours too", but it was with a "look". so, we'll see. she didn't give back the tests from last week yet either. i guess i'll have to get them both back next week since we only have class on tuesday. i hope i don't get hit with two bits of bad news when i get them both back! yikes! from the looks of the essays of the other people that were mailed in saturday, she doesn't grade very easily. well, i'm proud of what i turned in, so unless she counts off a bunch for it being a bit late, i don't think it will go that badly. *knocks on virtual wood*

i'm sorry you're sick. maybe it's like the vicarious effect, you know? like i've had some sort of mutated cold bug for almost three weeks, and a stomach infection for two weeks before that, so maybe you got sick cause of me. hahaha, i have such power, i can infect people from the other side of the equator! muahahahahaaaaaa! no, just kidding. i do hope you get better soon though. :)

hmm, you'll have to give me a bit to think about your education/job/financial situation. i will give you the veronica philosophy take on it later on. for now, i will wrap this up because i'm dern tired and ready to hit the sack. i will try not to cough up a kidney while i sleep. i think the pancreas got coughed up yesterday. damn cold. all the other symptoms have gone except this annoying freakin' cough. it's starting to dry up, except now i can feel the little bit that's left in my lungs when i breathe in sometimes, and that's not good. how come i couldn't feel it before when i was a hundred times more congested everywhere? oh well. if i asphyxiate in my sleep, you can have my cd collection. ;)

hey! i thought it might be entertaining to try to post you letters in this format. i never realized before than angelfire, the site i have my webpage on, had a function for making "blogs", as they call them. so i decided to try it out, see how it was. i wanted to let you know that i hadn't forgotten about you, i've been swamped with work and tests all week. had a big test tuesday, i think it went ok, in teoria de traduccion. there were 9 questions, mini-essay style. i know i answered 7 of them pretty well, the only way they could be wrong is if i just didn't write enough for some reason. but on 2 of them i just didn't know the specific thing being asked, so i wrote everything else i remembered about the person whose theory appeared in the question, hoping for some partial points at least. oh well. it can't have gone that badly, right?

apart from that, not much else is really going on. i sent my mommy an e-card for mother's day and talked to her on the phone for a while, it was nice. i miss my family a lot. my aunt is in vegas visiting right now and they have been going and doing touristy stuff and went to a bruch buffet for mom's day. my aunt and my mom have such similar personalities, i'm sure they're having a ball.
