That's Ollie!
At about 4.15 PM Brett and Dec came out and walked straight to a white van with some other women, there was probably the manager, choreographer and someone else, I don’t remember. I was looking at them a little suspicious, I wasn’t sure if they were Dec and Brett, see. Well, then Ollie came out, and I was like "Ollie, Hi! Could I have your autograph. Are you in a hurry?" and he said they were in a rush, but that he could give us autographs. He took my pen from my frozen hand, and wrote an autograph for me even when at the same time, someone said from the car that he should come already. Actually she said "Ollie, we need you!" Then he used my pen to write autos for Jenna and Milla also, so I couldn’t ask Brett’s and Dec’s autographs, because I didn’t have a pen. So, I just went to the cars door and said hi to them. I gave Brett my hand to shake it, but I was so stupid that I gave my left hand not my right one. Well, he took it anyways, and he was like "Oh my God, you’re freezing!" and I told him it’s a little cold outside. Dec was also very nice. He had very nice hair, and I was a little surprised that they didn’t look at all from what I had expected, Brett had cut his hair a little shorter, and Dec was nothing from the pictures. Makes me laugh when I think about it. Before I’d met them, Brett was my favorite, I guess from his looks, but now all of them are my favorites, because they were all so sweet!! Well, Ollie went to the car, but I got to hug him before he did, and he gave me a kiss on my cheek. The manager (I still don’t know her name…) told us that they’d come back in about an hour. They went to do an interview. The girls became very jealous at me because of the kiss from Ollie, and wanted to kill me. They were like freaking out after the car had left, but I was calm, and that annoyed them very much. Funny, huh? They were like "Oh my God, he was sooooooooooo cute!!!" and I was like "Haha, I got a kiss from him!" just to make them more jealous. But I didn’t mean any harm. They did get a little angry with me after that.

We went to wait for the guys to come back, but since there wasn’t a warm place to go, so we went under this roof, so it was a LITTLE warmer there, and the wind didn’t get there. At one point we saw this autograph collector Heino, and we hid from him. We didn’t want him to see us, because he isn’t our favorite person, he only wants peoples autographs because some day they might have some value in money. Which is I think a little stupid. But you know, everyone has their autographs. I collect autographs also, but I also LOVE Point Break. Well, at 5 PM, we went back to the backdoor, where the guys would go in from. It took them another 35 minutes to shop up, and I had frozen when they came back, but I suddenly got warm when they came back. They didn’t have time to give us autographs then, well that’s what they said. Someone (a woman) came to ask Milla about where did she get her poster of PB. She was totally confused, and didn’t know what to say. Well, then Dec came to talk to us, and asked our names. It was funny when he said "Do you want my autographs, I can give it to you now." I know it doesn’t sound funny, but it was at the time. I hugged and kissed him and also Brett who said "I don’t have time to give an autograph, but I always have time for a hug." That was so sweet!!
And Declan!
They were filming a music-video here, and Dec told us that it’s going to be really cool. There’s gonna be snowboarding etc… He was excited about it. Then they had to go in, because they would film the part where they walked in to the building. I was hoping that I’d get into the video also, but I don’t know until I see the vid myself. They promised to come back to sign the rest of our stuff, and we waited and waited. Until we decided to go to a gas-station near to buy some film for our cameras. See, I only had 5 pictures left and I wanted to take pictures from the performance. So, we went away, but before we did, we asked this guy at the door to say to the guys that we’ll come back soon, in case they happened to come out. He promised to tell them our greets.

We came back from the station as soon as possible and it took us about 10 minutes to go and come back. We’d thought that it’d take at least 25 minutes. We were fast, because we were in a panic. When we’d got back, we asked the door-guy if they’d come out. He was like "Oh, I don’t think so. There was three guys, but they didn’t speak English." We were very relieved after that!! But then the time was already 6.30 PM and their performance would start at 7 PM, so we decided to go to the arena. First I didn’t find my ticket, so I got into a panic again. Jenna was saying jokes like "If you don’t find your ticket, we won’t take any pictures for you!" and it wasn’t funny, so don’t laugh!

We went straight in front of the stage, and we were the first one’s there! I was really excited!! When the time was closer to 7 PM, the host called Timpe said "Everyone come closer, because soon on this stage will be POINT BREAK!!!" and at that time my adrenaline started going around my blood. I saw the guys behind the stage a little further away, and they were doing their rituals-before-a-performance, like hugging and saying things like "Point Break go" or what-so-ever. I don’t know what they said, ‘cause I didn’t hear them. DUH!! I saw them hugging each other and I thought that was very sweet! And then they disappeared somewhere. Before they came onstage, Timpe did this warm-up thing with us. The first time he asked "Is everyone feeling fine?" we should scream yeah. The second time he asked us "Is everyone feeling fine?" and we should answer yes. But the third time he asked "Is everyone feeling fine?" we should answer "Fuck You!"

And they finally came onstage. I waved at them, and I think Brett was the first one to notice me. Then Dec and Ollie. They started with a song "Do We Rock". It’s a great song, like I mentioned earlier. I sang along, and smiled my biggest smiled. At some point when Ollie was rapping, he came to me and tapped my head. It made me laugh! Jenna looked at me and laughed also. It was great! Brett looked at me a few times when he sang "Don’t you stop" and in my head I told him "No, I won’t!". He had a sleeveless shirt on, so I saw his tattoo, which, is I think, great!! Ollie was doing funny faces every once in a while, and Dec smiled at me, when I sang along with him in his part. When a part came where they sang "Do we rock, yeah yeah, do we rock yeah yeah" they "gave" the microphone to the audience when the "yeah yeah" part came.
Then they spoke something. I think they introduced each other to the audience, and I was so proud of myself, because I knew all their names already. Then they sang "Freaky Time" but told before it, that it had just got to the 7th place in the single-list or something like that. I’m not quite sure, but it was something like that! They told us also, that this performance was going to be filmed for MTV and said that (ok, Dec said that.) "You’re going to be on MTV!" They were really funny!!

And NOW they started Freaky Time. I think they were at least a little surprised to see that I knew the words to it, because that song isn’t released in Finland yet. But I learned the song’s words, as I was waiting for them to come to the arena. See they played the songs all the time, so I learned at the same. I smiled at them, and it was clear that they was surprised. There’s a part where they sing "If you’re looking for a freaky time, freaky time, baby, you can always count on me, I’ll be waiting." and in the "You can always count on me" they kinda invite you to them with their fingers. Hope you know what I mean. Anyways, I think it was cute when Dec looked at me at the same. Hehe…

Brett started talking. He asked us whether we liked boy bands that sing love-ballads and the audience said yes. Then he asked whether we liked boy bands that sing rock-songs. And the audience screamed. They did a great work with getting the audience involved to the feeling. Well, then they sang the new single "Stand Tough". I didn’t understand much from the lyrics, only the part where they sang Stand Tough… But I loved the song. It was another good party song. Brett smiled at me a few times again and Dec did too. They were very sweet! Well, then it all ended, they had done all their three songs, and went offstage. Me, Jenna and Milla ran the back of the stage right away. Ollie walked straight away, and didn’t hear me calling his name. Brett waved at me, and when he tried to come to me, the security guard told him not to come to me. That was a bit rude, I think. But Dec walked straight to me, and I told him they were great. I kissed his cheek and hugged him, and after I did that, everyone started screaming. I don’t know why, but I hope it wasn’t because I kissed him. Then we ran away to the backdoor of the arena to wait for them.

At the backdoor, there was a very nice old man as a security-guard. He let us go to the toilet, and even offered us some tea and goods. But we refused from all of them. And then he said that we could go inside the building to the hall (a room that’s before the real lobby, it had glass-walls.), so we wouldn’t have to be outside in the cold. That was very sweet of him, I think. Well, after waiting for maybe an hour or so, Ollie walked from one side of the lobby to another. He didn’t see us, though we tried hard to get his attention. Brett walked by also, and then came the managers and other women and Dec. The manager noticed us and said to Dec about us. Dec came to us, signed my poster and single, and posed for a picture. When I asked whether the rest of them would come out from that door, he told us that they had another gig that night.. I did a very sad face to him, and he promised to try to get the other two guys to come to us. I hugged him once again, and then he went to the room where the others were.

In a few minutes the whole group (Ollie, Brett, Dec, manager, choreographer and so on.) came to the lobby, and we started jumping up and down. The first one to come to us was Ollie. He was very tired, I could notice it. He signed my poster and single, and I got a picture with him. The other didn’t, so I feel a little bad about it. Dec walked by us and said "See, my magic worked!" . I laughed and said "Wonderful!" to him. I kissed and hugged Ollie, and then he went away.

And finally Brett came to us also. I started taking a picture of him, and Brett made a very funny face, but my camera decided not to work, But I got his autographs, and a picture with him. They were in a rush, and Jenna was so nervous she couldn’t take the picture. Two of the women came to the door and started a countdown: 5,4,3,2,1 and at 1 Jenna took the picture. I quickly kissed and hugged Brett and he went away. We ran to the car, and said our last good-byes to them. I asked where the show was in, the one which they were in a hurry to get to. Someone said Fennia, I don’t know who. They drove away. But then we got in a hurry to get to Fennia in time!

When we got to the club, we noticed two other girls there also. Milla had to go home, because her mother was pissed at her. I walked into the club and before I could say anything, a big guy came to me and said "Could I see some id?". I told him that "No, you can’t. I just want to ask what time Point Break is performing here tonight?". He didn’t know. There was Do We Rock playing at the back, so we thought they were there at the time. Well, we were "kicked" out, so we just stood at the door. For my surprise, the manager, and two other women came out in a short time. We spoke there for a little while. Jenna had two stickers on her pants that said "MIX" and one of them asked what they meant from her. Well, she can’t speak English, and she was like "Maaaaikeeeen!". I laughed and told her that MIX is a magazine for teen-agers. And the reasons Jenna has those stickers on her pants, is because if you wore them, you’d have the chance to win the magazine for a year or a CD-player. She told me that she saw lots of those stickers at the arena. Well, we asked if the guys are coming, and at what time. They told us that they were sleeping in the hotel at the moment, but they would come at 10.30 PM. I knew I couldn’t stay for that long. I told them that I’d been at Point Breaks official page the last day. I also told them that I had joined something. The manager was happy after that. I still don’t know what I joined, but I guess it was something good. She told me to mail to her, and that I would fine the address from the home-page. See, she didn’t know when they were gonna come back, hopefully soon, but wanted me to keep in touch. I told her my name was Maiken, and to remember it. She promised to do that! Then they walked to their car, and we decided to go to their hotel.

We got there in about 5 minutes, and after about 10 minutes, the car came there. I mean the one where the manager and the other women had gone into. All of us started laughing. It reminded me of our meeting with the New London Beat. The manager and one woman walked straight to the hotel, but one of them stayed to talk to us for a while. She told us again that the guys would come at 10.30 PM, but I said I had to leave in 20 minutes. See my train would leave. I hugged her, and she got happy after that! I asked her to say hi to the guys and she promised to do that! The other two girls were with us all the time, by the way! Jenna stayed at the hotel with the girls, but I had to leave. The girls names were Nina and something. I don’t remember the other girls name. Whoops. But this was another great meeting, and I hope to meet Point Break again soon. I mailed the manager, but she hasn’t replied yet. I hope she will soon! They’ll probably come to Finland in the summer, to one of the festivals, at least I hope they will, and their album will be released in Finland and July. I want it to come sooner, but I guess there’s nothing I can do about it. :o(
