June is one of the founders of our group, and she works as our advisor, editor, and conclusive authority in overseeing our website.
Many in our group have come to think of June as "Our Junebug". She was given the nickname by her grandfather when she was a child. It is truly descriptive of her personality and her spirit, we all think.
Interestingly, the Junebug, or Latin name Scarabaeus sacer, is referred to as the Scarab. It was important to the ancient Egyptians, who considered it a symbol of resurrection.
