.l. THOSE SEEKING ENTRY AND RE-ENTRY INTO THE ORDER:
a. David Davis, 25, inactive Final Vowed Brother, wrote from Portland, Oregon seeking re-entry. He left from the Dallas Center on 9-18-73. He is directed to come to San Francisco and is accepted for re-entry pending his appearance before the Esoteric Council.
b. David Joseph Finkestein, 26, 1-H., appeared before the Boston Apostolate Council seeking entry. He is accepted into the S.F. Novitiate Program.
c. John Mark Golden, 28, inactive Final Vowed Brother,
appeared before 1 n Apostolate Council seeking reentry. He left 6-3-72 from the Lincoln Center. The Master's Revelation concerning those who leave three times was explained to him. He is accepted for re-entry and is di-rected to report to the Brown Brother Abbey.
d. Kathryn Ann Terrill, 19, appeared before the Boston Apostolate Council seeking - entry. She is acceptedinto the St. Petersburg Novitiate Program.
e. Ann Louise Williams, 22, appeared before the Boston Apostolate council seeking entry. She is the wife of Peter Williams, alto seeking entry. She is accepted into the San,Francisco Novitiate Program.
f. Peter James Williams, 24, 1-H, appeared before the
Boston Apostolate Council seeking entry. He is the husband
of Ann Williams; they have no children. The sale of their
house will cover their mortgage and personal debts. He is accepted into the San Francisco Novitiate Program and may take the necessary time to finish his present.project at his

the sale of their house before reporting for entry. Both he
and his wife are to report at the same time.
2. THOSE WHO APPEARED BEFORE THE COUNCIL:
a. Terrell-Adsit and Chialeah Nadell appeared before the council for guidance.
Barbara Hanson, Final vowed, was brought before on report.
Donna McKeag, Student Vowed, appeared before the guidance.
Patrick Roberts, Final Vowed, appeared before to request priest training. He was accepted for Priest Class.
e . Gregory Zannis appeared before the Council seeking guidance.
3. VOW REQUESTS:
a. Gloria Calhoun, Boston, accepted for Student Vows.
b. Mary Klendworth, San Francisco, accepted for Student
Vows.
4. VACATION REQUESTS:
a. A letter was read from Br. William Dahlberg, Final Vowed, Peoria, requesting a ten-day vacation June 15-25 to visit his family in Lincoln, Nebraska as he has a week's This is granted and it is he may visit the Omaha Center
Final Vowed, Pittsburgh, Pa. two-week paid vacation from and the first week in June to visit her family in Maryland. This is granted.
C. Br. Norman Peter Guy, Final Vowed, Street Minister, appeared before the Council to request a few days off to rest. This is granted and the details will be worked out later.
d. Br. Mark Tate, Student Vowed, Reno, wrote requesting a three-day Y@ave o-f-absence June 14-16 to attend his sister's wedding. This is granted.

4. e. Rev. Gene Teitelbaum, Peoria, is granted a ten-day vacation pril 20-May lst to visit his family in Washington, D.C.
f. Sr. Elizabeth Whittle, Final Vowed, Raleigh, N.C. wrote requesting permission to attend her sister's wedding June lst in Winfield, Kansas. She has three-day's' paid vacation from her job. This is granted.
5. LETTERS READ:
a. Sr. Sarah Fisher, Student Vowed, Albuquerque, N.M. wrote requesting to return to her profession as a Licensed Practical Nurse. This is granted but as she is in the First Year Class, she is to be given special training and Communion on the mornings she will miss Mass.
b. Rev. Damian Klauber, Washington, D.C.. wrote requesting to continue the pattern of wearing the red ribbons on crosses in the Washington Center. This is specially granted for the Washington Center for one year.
c. Sr. Carrie Meckler, Final Vowed, Nashville, Tenn. .wrote seeking Council approval to work as a unit aide in a hospital with a schedule of working two out of three Sundays. This is granted but not for more than six months.
d. A-.letter was read from Sr. Geraldine Schultz, Student Vowed, Albuquerque, N.M.
6. THE MINUTES OF THE BOSTON APOSTOLATE COUNCIL MEETING OF APRIL 1, 1974 WERE READ AND APPROVED WITH THE FOLLOWING EXCEPTION:
a. The departure noted in the Boston Apostolate Council Minutes was not accepted as reported. Details of this departure, as all departures, must be presented to the Esoteric Council and will not be nute-d in the Action Report until this directive is followed.
7. The.following resolution passed by the Board of Directors on March 27, 1974 was presented to the Esoteric Council for approval:
"The HOLY ORDER OF MANS is exactly as its name denotes it to'be, A Holy Order - instituted by divine revelation to fulfill a spiritual commission in the world. Although the Order conducts programs of training for its own members and for postulants for membership, this should not be construed or interpreted as operating a school or Seminary as defined by conventional usage, vying the fact thal all members are under some vows before being permitted to enter. Vows are the declaration

of intent on the part of one entering to become a servant of Jesus Christ. This is not a scholastic training but a spiritual endeavor of initiation. Any references or use of such terms as "school, Seminary, etc." in order literature concerning itself and its function is coincidental and does not mean that the Holy Order of MANS accepts these terms as definitive of itself. It is the decision of the Board of Directors and the Esoteric Council that the Holy Order of MANS will not allow itself to be fraudulently or misleadingly categorized by any civil or governmental authority and will accept regulation only under definitions that accurately define it. The, Holy Order of MANS does not come under the definition of a "private post secondary educational institution" and therefore does not come under the jurisdiction of the Superintendent of Public Instruction of the State of Illinois, or any other."
The Esoteric Council gave its approval to the resolution
and it will now be sent to the Superintendent of Public Instruction in Illinois and placed as a public notice in newspapers in Chicago, Boston, and San Francisco. A small copy will also be printed for inclusion in the order brochure "Uniting All Faiths."
8. ORDINATIONS:
a. The Esoteric Council gave its Vote.of Confidence to the ordination of Rev. Rachel Vallee who was ordained on April 3, 1974 by Master Philip at 1-1 A.M. in the chapel at 101 Steiner.
b. The Council gave its approval to the coming
ordination of Br. Thomas Mickelsen on April 6, 1974.
9. DEPARTURES:
a. Sr. Patricia Green, Student Vowed, left from the Chicago Center on 3-9-74 without notice.
