"Nikki, why don't you, Isaac, Taylor and Zac drive down to BlockBusters to rent a movie?" Nikki's mother asked her after dinner. "Uh, Ok. What about Lauren?"
"Lauren can go too, if she wants, why don't you go ask her."
Nikki walked into the living room where Lauren and Taylor had been talking for almost 2 hours.
"Lauren." Nikki interrupted them.
"Yes?"
"Do you wanna come rent a movie with us?"
"With who?"
"Me, Isaac, Taylor and Zac."
"Uh... No thanks, I'll just wait here for you, I'm pretty tired."
"Ok then, Tay, Ike, Zac let's go." Nikki said.
"Um... Nikki?" Taylor started. "I'm kinda tired. I think I'll just stay and wait for you here." He finished. Nikki couldn't believe what was happening. 'My Taylor likes this slut!' She thought. Lauren on the other hand was in complete heaven. Nikki, Isaac, and Zac got in the car and were soon down the road. Lauren and Taylor sat in the living room watching MTV.
"Kids, Betty, and I are going out to get a drink." Nikki's mom said.
"Oh, it's just you two. Well tell the others that we went out, and we'll be back before 1:00. See ya then!" She finished and walked out the door.
"So Taylor, I heard that you are going out with Nikki."
"What?!? No! I am not! Is that what she told you? We're friends, and I thought I liked her. . . until I met you. See, you know when we were talking before Nikki and the guys left, well I felt really close to you and we have a lot in common."
"Taylor, that's so sweet."
"Look Lauren, I know we don't know eachother all that well but I think I really like you. Don't tell Nikki I said that cause she will never talk to me ever again."
"Ok, she already warned me to stay away from you so I'm a little scared."
"Don't be scared. I'll protect you." He said in a manly voice as he scooted a little closer to Lauren. Just as the front door opened, Taylor leaned over and kissed her, and Nikki saw it all.
