The doctors must have let Taylor sleep where he was because when Lauren woke up the next morning, Taylor's head was still on her stomach. Suddenly Taylor's head bloted up.
"Lauren?! Lauren?!" He screamed.
"What honey, what?"
"Huh? Oh, god. What a horrible dream."
"Awww TayTay, are you all right?"
"Yea, I'm fine, just a bad dream."
He sat up and gave Lauren a kiss and stood up.
"Are you hungry, babe?"
"Kinda, are you?"
"Yea, I'll go tell the Doc that you're awake and I'll ask if I can go get us some food."
"Ok."
"What do ya want?"
"Whatever you have."
"Alrighty. I'll be back."
"As Taylor was walking out the door, the whole family, and Meridith's family walked in. They were all in different clothes so she figured they had gone home.
"Hi baby." Betty said to her.
"Hi mommy."
"Hi Lauren!" Diana said.
"HI!" Lauren answered.
Everyone said their "Hello's" and sat down.
"Mom, did you all go home last night and leave Tay here?"
"See, what happened was that we were all getting tired, and Mackenzie, Avery and Jessica were all getting cranky so we came in here to say bye and get Taylor but both of you were sleeping and we didn't want you to wake up alone so we left him."
"Oh. Ok."
"Hey Lauren!" Zac said as he walked into the room for the first time that day.
"Hey Zac! I missed you. What have ya been up to?"
"Nothing much, Ike and I have been here the whole time, but to tell you the truth, we haven't come in cause it's been so loud and busy. I'm a little clostraphobic."
"Oh, hey, mom, do you think it would be OK if some of you could kinda wait outside for a little while? I wanna talk to Ike and Zac too."
"Sure honey."
Betty, Diana, Walker, Jody, Mark, and all the little kids got up and left, which only left, Lauren, Nikki, Meridith,Ike and Zac."
"So, Lauren, are you OK?" Isaac said with tons of concern in his eyes.
"Yea, it was a little iffy the first day, but man, lemme tell you how much better I am."
"Really? You're doing That much better? That's wonderful."
"Yea, I never thought anything like that could ever happen. Guess I was wrong."
"Wow Lauren. I'm happy that you're doing better." Nikki added.
"Me too." Isaac, Zac and Meridith said in unison.
They all looked over at Meridith with wide eyes.
"Meri! What happened to you?" Lauren asked.
They all were about to bust out laughing when Taylor came in the room and said
"Damn Meri, what the hell happened to you?"
Then there was a roar of laughter coming from that room, from everyone except Meridith.
"Shut up!" She yelled.
"Well what happened" Lauren asked.
Meridith sat there with her purple dress, and blond hair and pink lipstick acting all dumb and looking dumb with the oversized bow in her hair.
"Well, it seems as if my parents got some Self Esteem from talking to YOUR parents, and this is what happened!" She screamed pointing to Tay, Ike and Zac.
"Meridith, keep your voice down!" Jody yelled.
"Yes ma'am." She answered as everyone started laughing again.
Later that night the doctors were taking all the machines off of her when one started beeping.
"Damn!" The nurse yelled.
"Get Doctor Spellman in here, now!"
Lauren didn't know what was going on until everything started getting black.
She heard Taylor's voice but she didn't know what he was saying. Until suddenly the lights came back and all the doctors were cheering.
"What happened?" Lauren asked.
"No-Nothing Lauren. A machine went cazy and we fixed it so you're fine."
Taylor grabbed Lauren's hand and helped her get out of the bed.
"Thanks Tay"
"No problem babe."
"Are we going home now?"
"Yea."
"Finally."
When everyone was out in the parking lot, Lauren got in the car with her mom and Nikki. Tay got in the his parents new van with his parents,brothers and sisters and Meri's family. Taylor promised to call Lauren as soon as he got home.
When Lauren got inside the phone rang.
