One Sweet Day
Chapter One
"Nikki!"
"Yes mom!"
"Come down for dinner honey!"
"Mom! Can I invite Tay, Ike and Zac over for dinner?"
"No honey! I've invited the new neighbors over tonight. You'll have to talk t
the Hansons tomorrow. Sorry. Hurry up before our guests get here."
Nikki sat down and looked through a magazine. She really liked the Hansons. She
had a major crush on Taylor, and Taylor had one on her. Taylor had told her
that he liked her but he wasn't ready for her to be his girlfriend. She, Isaac,
Taylor and Zac were all best friends. Of course she liked Taylor more, as I
just explained. Her thoughts were interrupted by her mother bringing a gorgouse
girl into the room.
"Nikki, meet our new neighbor, Lauren. She just moved here with her mother.
Lauren this is our daughter Nikki."
"Hi Nikki." Lauren said cheerfully. "Hi Lauren." Nikki said. Nikki didn't want
to be stuck in the house with some pretty girl and her parents, so she did
something about it.
"Mom! Taylor, Isaac and Zachary are coming over."
"Do you mean. . . Hanson??" Lauren asked.
"Yea, I'm kinda going out with Taylor though."
"Oh really? Are they are coming over? Wow."
' I'm not gonna think about my father, I won't do it. I'm starting a new life
here, and I'll be friends with Hanson.' Lauren's thoughts were interrupted
by Taylor, Isaac and Zac Hanson walking into the room. Taylor looked in the room and his eyes went straight
over to the girl with blond hair and brown eyes. 'She is gorgouse !' He
thought. He walked right past Nikki's open arms, right over to Lauren.
"Hi, my name is Taylor Hanson."
"Lauren Strong. It's nice to meet you."
"Nice to meet you too."
Isaac and Zac followed Taylor over to Lauren. "And, I'm Isaac Hanson, you can
call me Ike though. I assume you're still Lauren."
"Oh, yea, still me."
"And I'm Zac Hanson. Nice meeting you."
"Nice meeting you as well." Lauren said.
Nikki was appauled. "Taylor, don't even say HI to me." She butt in. "Wha-
oh, hi." He said glumly. "What's wrong?" Nikki asked. Taylor didn't hear her,
he was too busy annalizing Lauren, in microscopic detail as she had a conversation
with Isaac and Zac.
"Kids! It's time for dinner!" Isaac, Taylor and Zac walked down to the table.
"Mom, Lauren and I will be down in a minute," Nikki started. "Lauren, I just
want to tell you, you better watch yourself around Taylor. I have nothing
against you, but if you take my Taylor away from me you will hope that you
move back to the city you came from."
Lauren was shocked. She tried not to look at Taylor all during dinner, but
every time she glanced up, he was looking at her. She thought she was in
love, and so did Taylor.
