When the six of them got to the movies, they sat down, and started talking. As the movie started, they all started to get quiet. The beginning of the movie was quite funny until Lauren heard the words:
"Mommy? Where'd daddy go?"
"Honey, daddy...daddy's gone."
Before Lauren finished listening to what she was saying, her mind started filling of memories of her father. She got up and ran to the bathroom crying. Soon after she got there, Nikki came in. "Lauren? Are you OK? What's wrong? Is it Taylor?"
"No! Didn't you ever wonder why I came here with only my mom??"
"I figured they got divorced. What happened??"
"Well, my dad was coming to see my swim practice, and on his way there he was in a car accident...and died." As she let out those last two words she cried even harder. Lauren walked into Nikki's open arms and gave her a hug. "Thanks Nikki."
"No prob. Why don't we go get the others??"
"Well, cause they're guys and we're in a girls bathroom."
They both thought that was funny and started laughing. Soon Lauren had almost forgotten about her father and gathered with the others.
"Lauren, what happened to you? It's not that things with us have been moving so fast is it??" Taylor asked her.
"No, it's not that, even though it's true, I'll tell you some other time."
Taylor grabbed her hand, gave her a kiss on the cheek and walked out of the building. When they gpt back to Nikki's house, all there parents were there and talking at the kitchen table.
"Well, where have you all been??" Nikki's mom asked.
"We went to the movies." Lauren answered.
"Lauren, have you been having a nice time?" Her mother asked her.
"Yea, why?"
"Just wondering. Well I was thinking we would go see Uncle John and Aunt Carol tomorrow. How about i- Lauren!! You peirced you eyebrow!!"
"Oh yea, do you like it??"
Just then Taylor walked into the living room thinking his parents would see his earring.
"Jordan Taylor Hanson. Come back here now!" Diana yelled.
"Yes mom?"
"Lemme see your face.- Taylor! You pierced your ear! Take it out, now!"
"Please lemme keep it mom, please."
"Well, we'll think about it, but Taylor we're very disapointed in you, you didn't even ask."
"I'm sorry. It's all my fault. I did my eye, I did his ear and I did Nikki's stomach. I'm sorry." Lauren confessed.
"Nikki! Lemme see your stomach! Aaawww! It's so cute!" Her mother *Who seemed to be drunk* said.
An hour later every one was leaving Nikki's house.
