Witches Potions

These potions are helpful for the specific problem, but they should never be a substitute for a physicians care.


Acne and other skin problems:

Ingredients- witch hazel, white vinegar

Directions- Wash face gently with mild soap morning and night. Rub affected area with witch hazel on a cotton ball. Rinse with solution of one tablespoon white vinegar in eight ounces water. Pat dry.


Bad Breath:

Ingredients-salt, baking soda, oil of peppermint

Directins- Mix 1/2 teaspoon salt, 1/2 teaspoon soda, two drops oil of peppermint in 8 ounces warm water. Charge the mixture. Thoroughly rinse the mouth night and morning until the condition is alleviated.


Hiccoughs:

Ingredients- cinnamon, dill, gin, sugar cubes

Directions- In 2 ounces best quality gin, vigorously shake 1 tablespoon dill seeds and 1/4 teaspoon ground cinnamon. Let settle. Pour off gin into clean bottle. Charge the exlixir. Take 9 sugar cubes. Place 1 drop of the elixir on each cube. Eat the sugar cubes in succession, as rapidly as possible.


Sedative:

Ingredients- thyme, honey

Directions- In 1 cup boiling water, dissolve 1/4 teaspoon powdered thyme. Add 1 tablespoon raw honey. Charge the elixir while it is hot. Then drink it at bedtime.
