We are sorry that for now our website is not completely finished. However, we will be continuing our work on this site and please visit soon for our most recent updates.
2004, a year in which Red Sox, and Yankee, fans of all ages will remember as one of the greatest years of baseball history.
Down to the Yankees 3 games to none, the Red Sox need a win in order to stay alive. In fact, they needed four wins in a row to stay alive, a feat that has never been done before. The stage is set, Fenway Park, Game four and the Red Sox have a runner on first base with 2 outs in the ninth inning. Dave Roberts steals second. Then, with another hit off the immposible Mariano Rivera, Roberts scores to tie the game and eventually win it. The Red Sox went on to win the next three games and the ALCS to advance to the World Series for the first time in 28 years. To learn more about the Red Sox, Yankees, and their famous rivalry, fell free to browse through the next few pages.
At this time we would also like to thank Ches Koblents and his website,
for hosting our site.
This website was created and edited by Robert Ayers and Bryan Rowland for our enrichment project.
