Free immunizations are available for children from birth through high school. If your child has not had shots or is behind in getting them, make an appointment now. Recommended Childhood
Immunization Schedule
5 Doses of diphtheria/tetnus/pertussis vaccine (DTaP). One dose at 2 months,4 months,
6 months, and 12-18 months of age; and one last dose at 4-5 years of age.
4 Doses of polio vaccine (IPV). One dose at 2 months,4 months, and 6-18 months of age; and one last dose at 4-5 years of age.
2 Doses of measles/mumps/rubella vaccine (MMR). One dose at 12-15 months of age and one dose at 4-5 years of age.
3 Doses of hepatitis B vaccine (HepB) by 12 months of age.
4 Doses of pneumococcal conjugate vaccine (PCV). One dose at 2 months, 4 months, 6 months and 12 months of age.
3 0r 4 Doses of Haemophilus influenzae type b (Hib) vaccine by 18 months of age, depending on the type of vaccine administered. Please ask your chold’s health cre provider for further information about how many doses your child will need.
1 Dose of varicella vaccine (VAR) to prevent Chickenpox at any visit at or after 12 months of age.
