This is a little page I made with a bit info about Yoshi!! :D

Yoshies have:

Lots of energy. They have so much energy... they can flutter in the air by simply moving their legs!

Very short & powerful legs. Fast animals usually have very long legs, but not Yoshies.

Small arms. This is because Yoshies don't need their arms to eat. They do it all with their tongues.

Big, round noses. The nose makes about 50% of the head.

Very long tongues. In adult Yoshies, it is usually up to 9.84 feet long! (3 meters).

White hides. Every Yoshi's underbelly is white.

The ability to encase an enemy inside an egg. This is Yoshi's very exclusive & unique move.

Smooth skin. Unlike every other reptile, Yoshies have a smooth, scaleless skin, And the proof is that scaly skin is not stretchable. Yoshi skin (especially in the cheeks) is VERY stretchable. So Yoshies must have smooth skin.

"Spikes" on their back. Not really spikes, but sort of an exposed backbone.

Short tails. Compared to other reptiles, their tail is very short.

A brown leather seat on their back. This seat is not permanent. As you may notice on my picture, I don't have my seat on. =)

Colored shoes. Yoshies of a specific color like their shoes of a specific color.

Highly expandable cheeks. They use their hamster-like cheeks to hold whatever they pick with their tongue.

4 fingers per hand. And I guess 3 x foot?

A very cute look. Everyone agrees that Yoshies are very cute!

A high intelligence. They are very smart creatures!

Color vision. They can see in color. Their bright colors are proof of this. If they could not see in color, their colors would be useless.

They are weak? HA! OF COURSE NOT! I would never call Yoshi "weak". Remember he can carry Mario on his back. Can you carry an adult on your back? Of course not! So please the next time you say Yoshi is weak, please remember this. ; ) His arms may be weak, but his legs... Remember he is a dinosaur!

Adult Yoshies can't jump very high. But they can "flutter" through the air, going up a lot more than jumping alone. They do it by moving their legs very quickly. By the way, doing this takes a lot of work! Just hear a Yoshi doing this and you'll see.
