Science Help

Don't wind up like the poor big-eared lab student - know your stuff before you try to mix things together in scienc lab.

The Periodic Table Online
This is a wonderful tool to have at your fingertips - an online periodic table. Discover what you're studying in science class, one element at a time.

Biology Help
A wonderful site devoted to the study of biology. A seemingly endless list of online resources for all aspects of biology and related fields managed by webmaster Ken House. Click above and find out why this is the only biology site I have included (it's just that good).

General Chemistry At Purdue University & General Chemistry at Frostburg
What the college kids study from.

Chem Tutor
Perhaps a simpler, more applicable way to look at chemistry.

Physics: Equations of Motion
Our favorite teacher, Mr. Muller, told us that all we had to remember were the "Vovfsta" equations - the equations of motion - to get through physics class, because all other concepts build off of these basic equations. Here they are:

relationship equation
velocity-time v = v0 + at
displacement-time x = x0 + v0t + 1/2at2
velocity-displacement v2 = v02 + 2a(x - x0)
average velocity v = (v + v0)/2

If you're in physics now you should be able to tell what the variables stand for. If you can't, ask your instructor, or check out http://hypertextbook.com/physics/mechanics/motion-equations/ for a more in-depth explanation of where they come from and some practice problems.
