You are a Soldier what most others do not want to be.
You traveled to places you feared to go and did a job others feared to do.
You have asked nothing of those who gave nothing, asked for no thank you's.
You accepted that fate would deal you the same as those who gave all.
You have seen the face of terror and walked through the flames of hell.
You have felt the cold sting of fear and met it head on without regrets.
You have only tasted love for a moment and turned and walked away to face the duty of your honor.
You have lived a life that others think you should have forgotten but you can never forget.
You have hoped, cried and suffer pain of loss of your brother Warriors.
Be proud you are a Soldier for you have been where Angels fear to trod.
You take your leave prepared to give your all for it is the price of freedom that calls.
Mount up in your saddle and your boots on your feet, hopes and prayers follow you ...
Until next we meet.
