"Where am I?" asked a confused voice, echoing from the darkness, like a roar from a lion's very mouth. The boy the voice came from stood, picking up his staff; a simple wooden rod with a red, spherical crystal of some sort floating in the center of the cresent shaped head. He tapped it against the air twice, as if hitting a foolish student upon the head, and it suddenly began to glow, as if by magic.
