• her eyes are bright, her mind a tease
• Her song puts us all asleep
• and into dreams we all do leap
• She casts a wind to howl throughout
• so loud you'd think the wind could shout
• Then she sends the shadows you love
• and tells the stars to sparkle above
• But then a slow and sturdy smile
• glimmers on her face awhile
• Once again she's brought the night
• that wraps around us all so tight
• Only when she sees the sun
• does she know her job is done
