Comments: Less than a year after the L.A. riots I painted an ominous looking man I called “Hate”. As I look at the slide today it is a white man underneath the mask. Could it be that this is my perception of “white” America? But whites do not have the corner an the market of hate as I personally found out. I am beginning to see that I only need to look in my own heart to see where those “spirits” lie.
