This is a website created by my lovely owners all about me (Norris)! It is really nice of you to come here 'cos it shows me that you really do care about me and the Guide Dog Puppy Walking Scheme.
For those of you who didn't already know, I am a reject (although I prefer to use the word 'retired')Guide dog puppy. The reason I couldnt complete my training was because I have a strange health condition. It is called a 'Pericardio Diaphragmatic Hernia' (I think) which means I have a hole in my diaphragm and my liver and intestines are wrapped around my heart. I look a bit funny but I am NOT disabled or anything like that.
I have had two very good friends since I retired. Natt was a very big dog but I was the boss because I am older than him. He has now gone off for training in Belfast and will definitely pass his test because he is a very clever puppy, much cleverer than me.
My next friend is Volley. He is only 7 months old now so I keep him in-line. He is very naughty and likes to pull of wall paper (Natt did this too) which gets our owners very cross indeed. I would never do anything as naughty as that! Volley is also very clever but is very obsessed with food so he wont do as he is told if food is availiable. Me and Volley have lots of fun in the garden and he always makes my lovely clean yellow coat all spotty with dirt so I look like a dalmation! You can't see the dirt on volley because he is black.
