A trainer is a third-party program that can either be a TSR (Terminal Stay Resident, usually used for DOS-based games), or can simply remain running while your game is in progress (for Windows '95-based games). Trainers allow you to turn on and off certain features, qualities or enhancements that were not included in the original game. This could be the following: unlimited lives, unlimited ammo, invulnerability, etc. The trainer alters the original memory locations to allow you to cheat where you wouldn't be able to do so without it. The trainer must be running in the background as you are playing the game. For best results, start the game and begin playing. Then, switch back to Windows (press ALT + TAB) and run the trainer program. Select your options and return playing the game. DO NOT close the trainer program. You must leave it running while playing the game.

Have this under the "\EA Games\Nightfire\bond" folder to alternatively enable the command console during game play. In addition, this version of autoexec.cfg contains some "goodies" for avid NightFire players. Refer to the readme.txt file for more information.
