mp_allowcharacters 1

Effect: single-player bots of the single-player map you have made into a multi-player map/arena will appear and fight you.

sk_character_head1 0 or sk_character_head1 1

Effect: muzzles the ability to claim bot head shots. This is excellent to use in order to make bots invincible during a match. Toggle between head1 0 (on) or head1 1 (off).

Note: you must enter the cheat(s) and then restart the map. They don't take effect unless you restart, just like the mp_allowcharacters 1 cheat.

impulse 101

Effect: gives all weapons

Alert: type mp_weaponstay 0 with this, as it enables it so that when you press Backspace multiple times, you gain more ammo to all weapons. You can max every weapon on ammo.

restart

Effect: reloads current map

v_dark 0

Effect: eliminates black screens (often happens with single-player maps as multi-player levels).

host_name your server name here

Note: use a _ if necessary. Example: host_name My_server_name_here.

cl_name username

Effect: enables the ability to change your username during play (type whatever you like in place of username).

teamchoice 1 or teamchoice 2

Effect: enables the ability to change teams 1 (MI6) or 2 (Phoenix) when ctf_autoteam is off or during Team CT.

sv_password 1 or sv_password 0

Effect: enables password protection on (1) your server; with 0 it removes the protection.

status

Effect: gives complete information on all users in a server.

kick "player's name" player's number

Effects: removes a selected player from your server. Refer to status for the user's information.

kill

Effect: commit Seppuku (suicide).

quit

Effect: exit the entire NightFire program instantly.

addbot model name #

Effect: add a multi-player bot by its model (e.g., Goldfinger), name (whatever you want), and level of difficulty (1-3).

bots_mode 2

Effect: fills server with 60% bots.

Note: enter bots_mode 0 and restart to blank out the 60% bots or whatever bot(s), which must already have been in your list when you started, from your list are active. Enter bots_mode 1 and restart to make whatever bot(s), which must already have been in your list when you started, from your list appear.

sv_clienttrace 999999999

Effect: all shots you fire at your target will automatically hit him/her--adjust the number after at will.

sv_accelerate #

Effect: alters forward momentum of everyone's motion by # (-1000000 through 1000000).

sv_maxspeed #

Effect: pretty much the same as accelerate.

sv_airaccelerate #

Effect: same as accelerate but in air.

sv_wateraccelerate #

Effect: same as accelerate but in water.

sv_airmaxvel #

Effect: alters forward speed of everyone's motion by # (-1000000 through 1000000).

sv_friction #

Effect: alters friction for everyone by # (-1000000 through 1000000).

sv_waterfriction #

Effect: same as friction but in water.

sv_edgefriction #

Effect: same as friction but in falling. Set # to a negative number for dramatic changes in falling.

sv_gravity #

Effect: alters gravity for everyone by # (-1000000 through 1000000). In other words, you can float around a level.

mp_falldamage #

Effect: makes falling damage more realistic by # (-1000000 through 1000000); with 0 it is negligible, anything higher than 1000 extremely hazardous.

sv_footsteps 0 or sv_footsteps 1

Effect: toggles footstep sounds on (1) or off (0).

sv_stepsize #

Effect: alters ability to step on and over objects for everyone by # (-1000000 through 1000000); set anywhere between 115-900 for best results.

maxplayers #

Effect: set amount of players by # (1-32).

mp_forcerespawn 0 or mp_forcerespawn 1

Effect: toggles forced respawn of all players on (1) or off (0).

mp_friendlyfire 0 or mp_friendlyfire 1

Effect: toggles friendly fire on (1) or off (0).

mp_teamplay 0 or mp_teamplay 1

Effect: toggles multi-player team play (1 for Team Combat, 0 for Combat).

mp_fraglimit #

Effect: changes your kill score limit during play. Set # to 0 for infinity.

mp_timelimit #

Effect: changes your time limit during play. Set # to 0 for infinity.

cl_zmax #

Effect: modifies environment texture by # (0-16384) so that you are seemingly looking through objects and people as the far-off distance is brought closer to you.

Effect: loads in first map/server, or whichever last you selected for Create Game, and voids out simple cheats, like sv_gravity.

sv_banid (minutes) (# "userid")

Effect: bans a player by a set amount of minutes, their number, and their username (with quotation marks around it). Replace the ( )'s with < >'s and refer to status for the user's information..

Note: set minutes to 0 for permanent banning.

sv_addip (minutes) (ipaddress)

Effect: same as sv_banid but enter the player's IP address and definitely 0 minutes instead. Replace the ( )'s with < >'s and refer to status for the user's information..

cl_timeout #

Effect: adjusts the timeout rate (client inactivity) of players trying to enter your server by # (-1000000 through 1000000).

cl_mpforwardspeed #

Effect: alters individual forward speed by # (-1000000 through 1000000). Use in conjunction with the sv_maxspeed cheat insofar as its increase (e.g., to 600) will thereby increase your cl_mpforwardspeed value.

cl_mpbackspeed #

Effect: alters individual back speed by # (-1000000 through 1000000). Use in conjunction with the sv_maxspeed cheat insofar as its increase (e.g., to 600) will thereby increase your cl_mpbackspeed value.

cl_mpsidespeed #

Effect: alters individual side speed by # (-1000000 through 1000000). Use in conjunction with the sv_maxspeed cheat insofar as its increase (e.g., to 600) will thereby increase your cl_mpsidespeed value.

rcon_password (your password here)

Effect: enables a remote console password. This enables another player or players to remotely enter cheats/commands in a host's server.

Note: replace the ( )'s with < >'s instead and use a _ accordingly. Example: rcon_password (My_password_here).

rcon_port (ipaddress)

Effect: after confirming password, you must enter your game server or IP address. Example: rcon_port (123.456.789.135:24687), replacing the ( )'s with < >'s. Refer to status to obtain your IP address.

Additional comments:

A mammoth thanks goes out to on-line players ~mderms~ and Alone]-[un][er] for their most appreciated help. To ~mderms~ for first disclosing the cheat/command and insisting it works and to Alone]-[un][er] for proving that it does very much work and how. If you want to go up against invincible bots, be sure to compound all the corresponding cheats. Same goes for invincible players. Only the host can enter these cheats. Individual players cannot make themselves invincible.

Gargantuan gratefulness goes out to on-line player Killzila for divulging a nifty little cheat. I do not condone the use of cheats to spawn items/ammo, but this cheat takes effect after the fifth trial. That is, you have to type it five times (or ten) and then once more for the block to appear. Here's the cheat: give ammo_smokegrenade. Type it beyond five times to cause a "missing model" block to appear. It's really quite funny as hell (:

"Secret" multi-player maps/arenas: 1) Practically every single-player level can be played as a multi-player level. After doing the console activation directions, press ~ and type "changelevel m*_*****," (without the quotation marks or comma) where * denotes a mission and mission part. For example, pressing ~ and typing "changelevel m9_space01" (without the quotation marks) will give you the last mission of single-player as a multi-player map/arena. 2) Some single-turned-multiplayer levels will appear with a black screen. To rid the black screen, press ~ and type "v_dark 0" (without the quotation marks). 3) If during game play in these "secret" maps/arenas green square arrows appear at the bottom of the screen, DO NOT continue going forward. The screen will temporarily go black. If any green square appears at the bottom, DO NOT interact with it at all. Repeat: the screen will go black for a short time. 2) Now, why sometimes restarting or changing a map during multi-player is necessary falls into the category of primarily the all weapons, teamplay, and allowcharacters cheats. During either single-player or multi-player (allowcharacters and teamplay cheats for multi-player), press ~ and type "sv_cheats 1" (without the quotation marks). Then, type "impulse 101" (without quotation marks and perhaps in uppercase format). Restart the level by pressing ~ and typing "restart" (without the quotation marks), and simply press Backspace. Voila! All weapons (literally ALL weapons only in multi-player, just four in single-player), different team play setting, or single-player bots appearing in the "secret" multi-player maps/ arenas.

Such maps/arenas like m2_airfield01 and m5_power01 (and apparently m3_japan01) in multi-player ONLY work for the server's host. All other players will be trapped within a black room, unable to see or move. In fact, if the host dies, he/she, too, will end up in this "room." Likewise, the m8_missile02 and m8_missile03 levels in multi-player will ONLY be accessible to the server's host. For these maps, an elevator will block all other players from exploring. Again, if the host dies, he/she, too, gets blocked by the elevator.

This is a personal problem I have encountered with my copy of NightFire. Every time I attempt to load in the m7_island03 map/arena in multi-player, my entire game crashes. I have participated in an online server taking place in the m7_island03 level, suggesting that it is possible. If anyone knows what the problem is, please contact me via E-mail.
